The Woodcutters Arms, Leigh-on-Sea

I love gigs at new venues; people who have not seen us before, ideas, preconceived or otherwise, about the ukulele, unconvinced that it can leap, in minutes, from the gentle rhythm of ‘Only You’, to the heavy rock number, ‘Smoke On The Water’ without batting an eyelid. I think we managed to convert them, judging by their comments, which we very much appreciated. Thanks also to the helpful staff who made it an enjoyable experience for us.
