The Royal Oak (The Dickie), East Bergholt

A welcome return to this wonderful pub; this time we were outside and the sun was shining and although there were few punters (it was World Cup evening after all), they were very appreciative. The excellent ‘dog barman’ was on duty as ever, giving out free licks to everyone. It was also the debut of my new ‘thin white uke’ so I was a bit nervous, but it behaved beautifully and hardly seemed to need me!
